At SKPIMCS we strive for all round development of students for becoming full fledge management professionals. Seminar series is a sincere effort towards this goal.

Expert lecture series has been designed to sensitize the students to the recent trends affecting the corporate world. In this series, every Saturday we have lectures on specialized electives. The experts from the industry are invited to share their experience and talk to the students regarding the changes taking place in the corporate world. This helps students to make a link between the classroom teaching and real life situation.

Every year the institute conducts industrial visits at highly reputed organizations, to name a few like Mundra Port, PepsiCo India Holding Ltd., Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages Ltd. Zydus Cadila, Amul, Claris life sciences,The Times of India, Radio Mirchi etc. These visits help the students to bridge a gap between classroom and real corporate world knowledge.

Institute continuously organizes workshops on Entrepreneurship Development, Digital Marketing, Selling Skills, Strategic Management, Business Etiquettes and Interview Skills on to sharpen their skills and make them ready for the Industry.

Now a days television programs & movies have been evolved as a great source of learning. Keeping this in mind we have started movie club, wherein students are shown different inspirational movies which convey some message to the students and give students learning lessons on resource management, team building, team work and many other management related issues. At the end of the movie session the learning from the movie are discussed which help the students to understand different corporate scenarios.

It is said that books are our best friend. Here, students are divided in the groups and allotted different books having management lessons and the groups have to make the presentation on the learning from that book. At the end of each presentation question answer session is held.

Management students need mixture of soft skills and hard skills to perform well in their examinations and also succeed in interviews of various companies. Personality Enhancement (PE) sessions have been part of the time table for SKPIMCS MBA students. Students are trained on fields of arithmetic aptitude and data interpretation, group discussions, personal interviews, grooming etc. Topics are divided by faculty members based on their skills and sessions are undertaken on weekly basis across all four semesters.

In this era of cut-throat competition, Management Students require mix of theoretical knowledge with understanding of real world issues. Management students should read business newspapers and make in-depth analyse of articles relevant to their subject in different semesters of MBA programme.

Business Quiz is an initiative by SKPIMCS-MBA to make students read and understand articles in detail so that they can attempt multiple choice questions on different themes. Questions related to brand associated with advertisements, name of CEOs of companies, matching of taglines with advertisements of brands, choosing right word among list of words for the different themes etc. are asked in quiz conducted on fortnightly basis.

MBA students need to learn event management skills and also create networks among themselves, for understanding dynamics of managing with different cultures. Cultural Mega Event SIRAAJ is organised by Institute, every year, since 2003, for 2 days, to make students ready for event management skills.

On level playing platform, students from various graduate and post-graduate institutions show their might in various competitions like Mr. & Ms. Siraaj, Fund ka Funda, Business Strategy Game, Dhundhte Reh Jaoge, Hatch it Sell it, Inquisitive, Frame Me Plz., No More Normal, Sur & Saaz and Footloose. Evening attractions like Rock Show and Fashion Show, further, bring out extra-curricular capabilities of students.

SKPIMCS-MBA is making theme based placement brochure every year. These brochures do not remain as an ordinary placement brochure but they are successfully transformed into coffee table books. In the year 2014, we faculty of Management studies, KSV have designed brochure on the theme of “Colors – Blend it as core…Abstraction, Absorption and Harmony…We believe in” Grand event was organized for brochure launch. Ms. Kajal Oza Vaidya has launched placement brochure 2014.

Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya has always put in conscious efforts to facilitate cognitive and affective domain of its students from diverse cultures and background. The main motto of KSV is to make a strong move towards inclusive societal growth. Youth festival is an effort to create challenging platforms and prepare them to face the challenges. Sangat – 2012 was organized by SKPIMCS-MBA. Chief Guest of the function Mr. Jay Vasavda, well known Gujarati columnist, has inaugurated the function. He has expressed his views on the theme of “YOUTHOVATION & SOCIETY”. Chief guests for the valedictory function were Shri Abhishek Jain, Path breaking director of Gujarati film “Kevi Rite Jaish” and Shri Dhaval Dave, Sr. Advocate of Gujarat High Court.

Shri Abhishek Jain expressed his views regarding the youth, sharing his own experience. Shri Dhaval Dave, Sr. Advocate of Gujarat High Court also gave very motivating message to the youth of nation.

Materializing ambition of students in respective professional career with an endeavour of not leaving any leaf unturned, S K Patel Institute of Management, Gandhinagar is again standing tall among top B-schools of Gujarat. One of the oldest management institutes in Gandhinagar with more than a decade of proud existence. It’s a place where knowledge is cultivated, nourished, shared and eventually cherished.

It’s always been mutually fruitful relationship that is vital for the institution’s growth. we proudly announce that our Alumni are performing extremely well at various places and positions throughout India. Institute has formed SKAA – S.K.Patel Institute of Management and Computer Studies Alumni Association for all the alumnus of SKPIMCS. So it is desirable to strengthen our network to reach all the alumni for this very memorable lifetime Association.

Objectives of SKAA:
